DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE

Dr. Henry is not a preferred provider for any insurance company. However, he will work with you and your insurance company to help you seek reimbursement. To find out if your insurance might reimburse your therapy call your insurance and ask if your plan permits you to go “out of network”. It is also important to ask if your policy cover “relationship problems”. Some insurance policies do not cover marital therapy unless there is another diagnosis occurring within one member of the relationship. So even if you have insurance they may not cover your situation. It is always a good idea to speak with your insurance before pursuing treatment

HOW LONG WILL I NEED TO ATTEND THERAPY?

There are many ways to structure therapy. The most traditional style is a 50 min session, weekly. On average, therapy using the EFT model lasts 15 to 20 sessions. Another format of treatment is couple intensives. This is where couples dedicate one to three days to focus on improving their relationship. It is very intense but allows progress to be made at a much quicker pace. Three days of intensives is equivalent to 15 to 20 sessions of work. Because of these benefits I have moved to an approach where I only do the intensive format.

WHAT IS THE COST OF THERAPY?

Finding the right therapist for you and your situation is crucial to successful treatment. Because it is hard to make that decision without talking with the therapist, Dr. Henry will provide a free phone consultation before scheduling an intensive. The fee is based on the number of days in your intensive. The couple intensive is not necessarily more expensive than the traditional format of one hour a week however you are having to pay a larger amount upfront. Dr. Henry's 50 min session would cost $200 per session however, during an intensive you will be doing seven 50 minute session in one day at the cost of $1400. There is no difference in cost by minutes in session just a different time blocks for sessions. 

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

50% of the total fee for service is due at the time of scheduling. There are no refunds of the scheduling fee. If the cancellation occurs a week before the appointment then the scheduling fee can be used towards rescheduling a new intensive. A cancellation less than a week before the appointment, will result in a loss of the scheduling fee.
